rush scores

My friend sent in rush scores to UM so her app would be complete by the end of October, but I know UM doesn't accept rush scores, so does that mean her app is still incomplete until she resends her scores regularly? I figured they might only reject rush scores for those taking the January SAT or something and trying to get it in by February, is there really a difference between rush and regular scores? Everything was recieved for me by November 4th, but WA said my app wasn't complete until the 9th it was updated, does that mean it was really complete the 4th and not the 9th? I know a lot of people have been having a problem with that too I just want to know about when they considered my app complete. And is that late for an OOS student? Or is that still pretty early? Based on this forum I would say I'm borderline for admission...(3.75 UM GPA, 1340/2030 SATs, 2 Honors+2 APs, athlete but not being recruited) And when do you think I should hear back? I know someone said borderline students usually have to wait a little longer for a response, but could I say by late December? Ahhh I'm so nervous.

Rush scores arrive on paper and are hard to open, match with files, etc. Regularly sent scores arrive in electronic form and are easier for the schools to deal with, they really prefer the electronic format. SOme schools won't accept rush scores at all.

for an out of stater, you really are borderline, ur stats are right in the middle.

you should've applied before november cuz after nov 1st it becomes much more difficult cuz of the amount of applications that have flooded the offices already. However, I think u have a decent chance and u'll hear a response back around 8 wks.
