@YungIrving99 not yet… I mailed off the required documents on Friday so hopefully I’ll receive it by the end of the week.
@samc24 what exactly were the required documents because I only filled out the FAFSA
@YungIrving99 check out your required documents page to see if anything is left for you. I’m a US citizen but wasn’t born in the US so I needed to send documents to verify citizenship.

@KPat11 are you applying to Rutgers for fall of 2017? It was due Dec 1st.
I received 10k-13k merit for both pharmacy and engineering, but not SAS. I also put SAS as my first choice. I also didn’t receive an honors college acceptance for any of them. I’m a bit confused on the lack of merit and honors from SAS, so can anybody provide any advice/clarification?
@jcow77 Talent pool was tough this year, lots of kids with high stats and only so much $$/honors to give out!
Merit aid was significantly reduced this year. R said only 12% of incoming freshmen received merit. This is greatly reduced from years past - so reduced $$$ available was the cause, not an increased talent pool.
How the 12% was determined is not clear. If Rutgers says it was based purely on academic merit, I find that hard to believe and call BS. There were many 1500 SAT kids that didn’t get a dime. The pool of 1500 SAT kids is relatively small at a University like Rutgers - so I believe other (demographic) factors came into pay with the reduced merit pool.
Does your scholarship come with your award letter? I got mine with some financial aid but no merit scholarship. On the example it doesn’t show any merit and says you have to report scholarships.
Can anyone help me with a problem im having? I applied before the deadline for regular admission with every submitted ( SRAR + SAT , etc). Fast forward to today and it says that im missing “Copy of High School Transcript/Secondary School Records”, event though I thought this was part of the SRAR?
@jabba201 just reach out to the school and ask them why you are getting this message. It might just be a glitch. Don’t worry.
@jcow77 In your case, I would call admissions. Agree with others that there is not much Merit. That said, admission wise Engineering and Pharmacy are more difficult to get accepted into and have higher average stats. It seems odd that your scholarships would be for the harder school. Most of what I have read has been the opposite.

Im an international student but am a citizen of the US… I’ve submitted my FAFSA etc before time.
@kainat1998 same here. I’ve mailed my citizenship verification but still nothing.
@samc24 Ikr… Did you try contacting their office? I mean like the rest prolly got theirs and Im here waiting for an email lol…
@kainat1998 I emailed them a while ago and they told me it’s because of my citizenship documentation, so I mailed the proof like 10 days ago but nothing yet. The damn website doesn’t load for me most of the time so I’ll have to wait for the email lol
