I am a freshman at Stockton College in New Jersey and am trying to transfer into Rutgers NB SAS. I will have around a 3.2 GPA this semester.

High school GPA= 3.6 (weighted)
SAT= 1700/2400, 1170/1600

is my current gpa good enough?

I transferred last fall with a 3.26 so you have a good shot. They’ll probably consider your highschool scores as well since you’re only a freshman, but yours are good so I wouldn’t worry!

will the have a chance to look at my second semester grades? will that factor into their decision? or will they accept me purely based on first semester grades?

I actually took the spring semester off when I applied because I had already graduated from my school in the winter, but they will only be able to look at your first semester grades. You’d send your spring grades after you finished, but by then you’d already have an answer from them.

The less college coursework you complete, the more they’d look at your highschool stats.

alright thanks a lot
