<p>Even though your SAT score is below the 25% rank for all admits, your GPA is above the median (Rutgers’ website lists weighted GPAs but don’t assume that Rutgers will disregard unweighted like Virginia Tech would) for SAS. I know Rutgers is a school that admits lots of in-staters that have a weighted GPA in the 3.8-3.9 range but most in-staters with 3.8-3.9 weighted GPAs that get into Rutgers score at least 1700 on the SAT (or 25 on the ACT).</p>
