Hello friends,
I am enrolled into Rutgers engineering school. Just wanna give you little background about me. I am from India. I came to USA in 2010. finished my Junior year and right now I am in my senior year. I will be going to Rutgers in couple months.

Thing I am nervous about is my English, ( not my first language, but I am quick learner I learned a lot) How can I improve my English skills for my engineering college life?

And how can I be a good engineer? ( some tips ) by the way I will be doing Chemical engineering

Your english sounds fine to me. Pretty amazing if you’ve only been here for 2 years. It helps if you keep practicing your speaking, which means you should try to avoid talking in your native tongue, even if its with family and friends.

Get yourself a summer job dealing with the public: cashier, customer service, help desk, something along those lines. You will not only be speaking English, but you will have to listen to all the crazy different accents and upset people.
