@emerica
did they ever ask you for 7th semester grades?were they good?that could play a role

What is the 7th semester grade?? I’ve never been asked for one.

7th semester grades are your 1st and second marking period grades(First half of the year). Schools usually ask for them when they have a list of students who are borderline for acceptance.

@Emerica
Good Luck for engineering and business!

They haven’t (yet) asked for my 7th semester grades but my school sends them out to every college once we get them. My guidance counselor said that she will send an email giving them a heads up that they’re coming and show what I got so maybe it could help out…

Yea…You have any backup schools?^^

Yup no worries on that one. Rutgers was just my 2nd choice school sooo yeah.

SAT: 1660/2400
GPA: 3.42

My SAT scores are pretty low compared to you guys but I got into Rutgers Newark & New Brunswick as a bio major so I’m sure you guys will be accepted.

^^Don’t be too sure of anything; that’s what I learned about this whole process.

ketchup- do you have any hooks? I have a 3.45 and got a 1630 (very close stats to yours) but i haven’t heard back yet. it’s my first choice…

i got in the SAS and enviro/bio sciences

good job bro^ and yanksfan rutgers only cares about class rank, gpa and SAT…

Just got into NB Engineering! Should I go for this or SUNY Buffalo, Binghamton, or Stony Brook Engineering?

Wait listed for Engineering!
Beats my rejections from SAS and Business haha

good luck hope you get in later

There is hope Emerica! I hope you get off the wait list soon =)

PWireBrake: Are you instate? The engineering program here at Rutgers is great!

I don’t know how much having a social life is important for you (but I’m sure you’re willing to get a good education and have a good social life as well), but I know one kid who goes to Stony Brook and he and a couple of people he knows hates it there =\ It’s kind of depressing. Don’t know much about SUNY Buffalo or Binghamtom though.

I think you are better off at Rutgers. (maybe I’m being a bit biased, hehe)

choosing between SUNY stony brook, suny albany, the college of new jersey, and rutgers for pre-med. any suggestions? :)

I would go where it will cost you the least, get good grades and save your money for med school.

I’m stuck with deciding b/w Rutgers and TCNJ too. As of right now it’s just gonna come down to whichever is cheaper after financial aid comes through, since for biology they are both very good.

cometstarg-did you already get into TCNJ? i am still waiting.
