Rutgers' Fall Schedule...

I just recieved my schedule for the fall 07 Semester. I WANTED it to be Biology, Chemistry, Calc 1, and English (before taking the placement test). However after bombing the placement test I got placed into English 100 ("retarded English" lol). Now they gave me a schedule which looks like this:

General Chemistry
English: Basic Composition
Honors Physics III
and 01:355:005...NEEDS PLACEMENT TEST BY ARRANGEMENT

What the hell is the last thing? And When and how should I change this piece of crap of a schedule :). Thanks for the help guyss. (pleasee you Rutgers GURU...HELP MEE)

Thank you...

I believe that is a math class.

Did you take the math placement test? You need to contact someone in academic affairs soon.

I got it figured out...They made a mistake :0. They took it out and are giving me Calculas. Only reason I didn't have Calc was becuase it was full...Consequently I decided to take Calc 151 (I only need 135). But I had no choice. What is the main difference between the two?

151 is for engineers, physics majors, math majors, and biochem majors i believe

135 is for everyone else

I have to take Calc for my Pre-Med requirments. You think 151 will be MUCH harder then 135? Or will it kind of be the same?

Have you taken calc in high school? If so both classes shouldn't be too bad for you. The classes themselves are pretty similar but the thing is that 151 has all of the engineers/math major who like(and usually are good at) math..it'll be more "competitive" and, depending on the professor, might be harder to get a good grade.

yeah im prob pre med as well, but im not taking a calc my first semester cause i aped out of it, but im taking 136 second semester i believe

and science_ please, is bio on busch more diff than on cook/douglass? Who is better..martin or brey?

I wish I could help but I AP'd out of bio so I have no idea. From hearing some stories the lab reports are a pita.
