I’ve signed as an athlete to Rutgers next fall and my coach has recently notified me that I will be receiving an invitation to the Honors College. I was wondering if I could get someone’s opinion on the program (as an athlete or non athlete) and its benefits/drawbacks? My only problem is that the housing is on College Ave. while my practices would be on Busch campus so I’d have to go back and forth a bit, so I’d love to hear what you think of the Honors College. Thanks in advance!
Everyone I have known who has been accepted to the honors college, including one athlete, has chosen to live there and has liked it quite a bit and found it to be a good source of friends. Don’t know enough to comment on having to commute for practice, especially for a winter sport.
