I am a rising sophomore & I had a group of 6 for Busch Suites (1 junior, 5 sophomores) with a lottery number in the 450s, we didn't get it cause of reverse seniority & I had to separate from my junior roommate for doubles cause of the reverse seniority. I feel bad because I have many friends who are rising juniors who can't get apartments cause of **** lottery numbers, I just want some insight on this, what is a good chance of juniors getting doubles on any campus? (leaning towards college ave but generally speaking)

eek, shame you didn’t have a group of all sophomores. Doubles on College Ave for juniors is definitely a stretch because of the reverse seniority points. Livingston or Cook/Douglass would be more realistic for two Juniors trying to get a double.

Would the chances for college ave be very slim? Or would there no chance at all depending on lottery number

I am thinking that College Ave for rising juniors will be tough. Someone posted on last year’s housing thread that their rising sophomore’s son’s lottery number was in the 3000’s and he got a double on College Ave in clothier. But you are a rising junior so I don’t think you will make it.

Ok, what about two rising sophomores with numbers in the 7500s?
And for the juniors it is possible to get a double just not on college ave?

Yes, the juniors will probably end up on Livingston. Last year only about 200 people did not get housing during the lottery, but eventually they were accommodated.

Not sure what the highest lottery number/group number was for College Ave last year.
