<p>A word of advice. If you are driving there, leave early!
Last year we drove up the Jersey turnpike to move my daughter into her college in NY, and long before we got to exit 9, the cars were backed up onto the shoulder of the turnpike. A LONG line of packed cars. Both directions on the turnpike.</p>
<p>It must be a zoo on move in day there.</p>
<p>It’s Saturday September 1st for freshmen. Classes start the 4th.</p>
