sound good?

1) TCNJ>Rutgers
2)UMaryland>Rutgers
3)Penn State University Park>Rutgers

The fact that Adchen124 thinks that Rutgers is better than Penn State and TCNJ and thinks Maryland barely beats Rutgers shows he/she is a complete idiot. Rutgers is getting better, but Maryland and Penn State are both ranked higher, known for academics better nationally, have better resources, and are better schools. TCNJ is a smaller school and is not as well known nationally, but it is still a lot better than Rutgers. USNews and every other ranking supports this.

maryland>rutgers [much better in engineering and business]
penn state>rutgers [business is better, everything else is about equal]
rutgers>tcnj [i can't think of any dept. where tcnj is significantly better]

i never said rutgers is significantly better than pennstate. i said that penn state's business program is better than rutgers. thats all i said.

go to the previous page and check.

rutgers i still believe is better than tcnj.

Yeah sure Rutgers is a decent school, but it's no way in hell better than TCNJ. Rutgers may be known nationally, but the education quality is better in TCNJ, and in the Northeast-possible just NJ it's more recognizable to be a graduate from TCNJ than Rutgers. Bigger isn't better. Just because Rutgers is big, doesn't mean it beats TCNJ. If you think about it logically TCNJ is much more competitive to get into. I don't think how competitive one's schools shows the entire profile of the school itself, but it gives a ballpark of where the school stands. Honestly in all of the schools mentioned I would have to say Rutgers is the last one to stand.

Yeah, all three of those are better than Rutgers. Rutgers is not a bad place, it's just behind those three.
