I would love to go to Rutgers New Brunswick and want some insight to see if I can get in or not so I can decide whether or not to apply to more schools.
Weighted GPA (competitive public school): 3.5
Highest new SAT: 1470 (700 Reading/writing, 770 Math) (also I accidentally sent in all of my other SAT scores, which are a 2020 and a 2060 for the old SAT)
SAT II Math II: 800
ACT: 33 (forgot scores, each section was over a 30. Also 26 essay)
APs: Stats junior year (5 on test), Lit and Comp, Art, Physics, Psychology senior year
Senior Year GPA: About 4.4
Would love to hear from a few people on what they think! Thank you so much in advance!
Also, I am applying for the business program!
Your GPA will hurt a bit but I think your scores should more than make up for it. It’s definitely not a safety but I think you’ll get in
I think you can get into better schools than Rutgers. Why do you want to go there?
Just asking because I’m also thinking about his Rutgers, why will his/her GPA hurt? Isn’t it above average?
I heard that the Business program is pretty good, and it’s only 40 minutes away from New York City. However I did apply for some higher ranking schools such as UIllinois, Babson, and Northeastern, as well as some far reaches such as Boston College.
More specifically, my GPA is actually a 3.54, without factoring my senior year 4.4 GPA, and ACT Superscore of 34. I think my essays are good-my guidance counselor said that it was one of the best essays she has ever read, but I am still skeptical.
