Rutgers New Brunswick Spring 2019 Transfer

I am a prospective transfer applicant looking to attend Rutgers University New Brunswick for the Spring 2019 semester. I am currently a college freshman and I will be transferring 17 credit hours if I am to be accepted. I graduated high school with a 3.6 GPA and I graduated with the Academic Honors Diploma; I was Cum Laude. My ACT is 26 composite and I don’t have any SAT scores to report. I currently do not have a GPA at the college I’m at now because it is so early in the semester and the recent hurricane has taken me out of school for three weeks (the college has been closed). What are my chances of getting into the university? I applied for SAS and SEBS.

I’m 99% sure Rutgers, since you don’t have a college GPA yet, will just basically look at your application as if you were applying as a high school senior. So as long as your high school GPA and all that is up to their first year applicant standards you should be fine. When you get accepted they will have you send your first semester grades to them so they can do the transfer credit evaluation.

Here’s the grades they are looking for:

'm also applying to transfer and I’m so nervous. I was originally at Umass Amherst, but I had to take a medical leave during my second semester so basically I have a bunch of W’s. My first semester GPA was a 3.2 and now I’m applying to Rutgers NB to go into SAS.

I will have a total of 23 credits. I’m also taking two classes at Bergen Community.

Do I have a chance?
