Rutgers or SDSU Business

I was accepted to the Rutgers business school in New Brunswick, in state. However, I don’t really like Rutgers and I want to live in Southern California after I graduate. Assuming I get in, would San Diego State be worth an extra $9,000 to attend? I feel like it would be much easier to find a job where I want to be if I attend SDSU. My family can afford it, but I will have to pay it off so, so I just want to know if it’s worth it.

I would say go for SDSU. I visited in October and the campus is absolutely beautiful. If your’e concerned about rank, the school keeps climbing the charts every year and they have TONS of spirit, great football and other sporting events to go to. The beach is pretty close by as well. Of course your opinion could change, but if you don’t really like Rutgers then it’s going to be pretty difficult to go through with enrollment there. $9k in the grand scheme of things isn’t a lot, and if you can afford it and it will be easier to find a job there in your field then I think it is a great choice. I live in northern California but have a ton of family in NJ and visit often so I have some perspective from both coasts. They both have their advantages, but san diego is really an awesome city! If you haven’t lived on the west coast, and as long as you’re ok with being far from your home and family, it would probably be a pretty fun adventure moving across the country to college:)
