Rutgers Premed with humanities

How hard is it to be a premed at Rutgers and major in the humanities? It seems that most of the premeds major in the sciences. Also in general do Rutgers premed students get into good medical schools?

well im planning on declaring my major to psychology and doing predental... and the reasonw hy i decided this was becuase ive heard a lot of success stories. i thinkkkk that even though it would probably help you if you majored in a science and did premed, but i dont think it would HURT you if u did a humanities major..

but i kinda wanna know more information on this too. as for premed, i know a good amount of people who ar doing premed at rutgers presently but all of them are majoring in bio or neuroscience or biomedical engineering or blah blah blah. something really med related. =/ so im not too sure

It seems obvious, but its true. Major in whatever interests you and you know that you can pull a good GPA. :)

definitely just major in what interests you the most. medical schools are interested in seeing passion, and as long as you do well in the pre-med courses, you will not be looked down on at all, and may even get a boost to improve diversity. The boost is certainly a debatable issue, but what's not is that you should major in what interests you and it won't hurt your chances for medical school as long as you fulfill the requirements.
