Rutgers Transfer FALL 2009 Anyone waiting for acceptance with me?

Congrats!!!

congrats pj!

Anyone that submitted their final transcripts and its still not showing up on the status screen?

hmm. i didnt know we had to send them in. i think i read that you only hae ot send it if you were accepted after june 26 or something.

but i could be wrong

You do have to send your final transcripts - they’ll need it for the grades & to give you credit for the classes you take. I need to send mine the next time I’m by my school :-|.

Yeah magent311, I sent mine in a couple weeks ago and they still are showing up. I think they are just swamped…

Tomorrow is the 1st. STAR day, Finally!!!
They sent me an email saying that I must arrive between 8:30-9:00am and the it’ll be over around 3:30-4pm. Why would it be that long? Aren’t we just registering for classes?

I thought it seemed really long too, but I’m sure they will talk and talk and talk! haha

I hate that it’s so early :-|. I’m not an early bird.

Yea, I hate that it’s so early too :(

Hopefully it wouldn’t be boring.

Hopefully it wouldn’t be boring.

Bahh…I am expecting incredibly boring…

I live about 60 miles away so I’m looking at heading out at 7. :(

We don’t have to register on spot right? We can come home and register?

any transfers hear about housing ?
i was just at the advising/registration day today (SEBS) and i still dont have a clue as to where i am going to be living next year.

There’s a little housing application in the housing website for Rutgers. There you can check housing assignments, but only if you have sent in your immunization records. I sent my immunization records by mail on Friday. The website just updated for me, but it says housing will be posted in July. =/

how much did today suck? what a miserable day to walk between buildings!

not to mention my math class didn’t get approved so I have to take the placement test.

and I have to take general psych over. ugh. I don’t even blame Rutgers, it’s my stupid community college and their horrible advising.

i agree with horrible community college and advising.

The advice I give to everyone going into community college is to communicate with the school you want to transfer to before you deal with advisors at cc. I decided to listen to them instead of making my own schedule and I wasted like a whole year…and now I’m paying for it!

i did the same thing, but i realized before i wasted the entire year thankfully. im still losing some of classes when i transfer though. it sucks.

The only thing worth while was the 2 deans fixing my evaluation problem. Whoever is going to a future STAR day, you can arrive at like 10:20AM. The Beck hall lecture was completely blah blah. Don’t arrive at 8:15 like me.

The only good thing for me was that although I have to re-take general psych, the advisor is letting me take Health Psych with it. I’m still mad about having to take the math placement. :-(

The lecture was booorring. I got there around 8:15 too… walking through the mud from lot 101 was a horrible start to the whole day. The only part I liked was registering and leaving! haha

What a STAR day. It was HORRIBLE

When are they supposed to evaluate our spring transcripts???
Because they didn’t evaluate mine yet, I couldn’t register yesterday for a couple of classes because the pre-req. I took in the spring :frowning:
I have no clue how long do I have to wait now to get my transcript evaluated. Very disappointed…

I was really upset that we didn’t get actually MEET with an advisor…I know we could have asked questions, but I felt so rushed everytime I tried.

I’m more stressed now than I was before registering :-(
