<p>TTK, were you in the business lecture? The dean was so rushed by the other deans and they literally pushed her out of the building. I have a feeling its gonna be like this everywhere at RU. It’s just a big school and takes time to get used to just being a number :(</p>

<p>Nah I wasn’t in the business lecture, but I was hearing scary things about it haha. </p>
<p>I’m still going to the orientation… even if some of the stuff is boring, I’d like to have as much information as possible. Are they going to make us play games though? I hate that… I don’t think they make anyone more comfortable

<p>I wasn’t in the business lecture, but I attended the biological Sciences lecture and it was pretty much the same thing. Everything was rushed and I became more confused and stressed out more than I was before :-(</p>
<p>After waiting on many looooong lines to talk to advisors, it was all useless. I have to wait for spring transcript evaluation to register. </p>
<p>I don’t know about going to the Orientation. My disappointment is overwhelming right now :-(</p>

<p>I guess it will take me a little while to start getting used to RU system. In my previous CC everything was different and easy to deal with. In RU is much more work to get any info or advice.</p>

<p>I went into the liberal arts/undecided lecture and that was so pointless… I felt like they were still trying to “sell” the school to us even though we already enrolled haha It was beyond boring.</p>

<p>FYI, I just noticed Rutgers corrected an error on my Transfer Credit Evaluations after meeting with Dean Diamond on STAR day.</p>
<p>I thought we were going to take ID pictures at the summer orientation thing now since we didn’t take them on star day. They didn’t address it at all, really haha we’re all going to be so lost and confused when the semester actually starts :-X</p>
<p>Yay magent! That’s very good news! I was hoping to get some things fixed, but it was impossible to meet with all of the different departments. The ones I did shot me down, but I did want to find out why my microbiology didn’t transfer as their microbiology…I took the highest possible level :-/ I’ll have to email someone!</p>

<p>IDs are going to made on your move-in day. They are starting to do them on august 24. I asked one of the Deans about the ID and they said I could go any time but when I went they said that they werent doing them unit august 24 which is basically the day you move-in to dorms if you are living on campus.</p>
<p>Offcially “Not Admitted” to the nursing school from the waitlist (not much of a suprise!), so I’ll definitely be staying in SAS for a year. At least I don’t have to spend the whole summer in suspense! </p>
<p>Now I just have to figure out what to major in while I’m in SAS :-/</p>
<p>TTK, sorry to hear that. Another year at RU won’t hurt, just take the classes that fulfill your minor. That’s what I am doing!</p>
<p>Thatsthekey, Sorry to hear that you’re not admitted to the nursing school, but don’t loose hope. May be you can reapply after taking a few more courses in SAS. I’m not sure why you were not admitted but try to talk to an advisor to know what other options you have.</p>
<p>Yea, when I was first waitlisted, a dean from the nursing school said to enroll in SAS and if I didn’t get into the program this year, I could apply for next fall to transfer in and they tend to accept more in-school transfers than from other schools. I’ll just have to make sure I do really good this year!</p>

<p>Hey everyone, I have a question to those that have been accepted as a transfer student in New Brunswick SAS, or to anyone that just knows.</p>
<p>I’m a 2nd year student that has just successfully transferred from SAS in Newark to New Brunswick, and I have a question about housing. On the housing home-page it says that all transfer and first year students must apply for housing at the Enrollment Pathway site, that is, right here: <a href=“myRutgers Portal”>myRutgers Portal. Yet when I type in my information to log on it says that my info is not recognized, even though I am already admitted.</p>
<p>Did anyone else experience this already? Thoughts? Maybe it takes a while for all the information, such as RUID and the the pin, to transfer over? Anyone have any ideas?</p>
