S.O.S- Junior needs help!

Hi all,
I need to decide by this Tuesday if I am going to change classes.
Here's my schedule:

AP Econ (Teacher is hard, quite a bit of HW)
AP Calc BC (Hard class, teacher is great, doesn't give HW, but I took PreCalc over the summer; teacher says I'm smarter than most students in class but still scared out of my mind)
Honors English (a bit of reading and HW, but easiest class)
APUSH (LOTS of writing, said to be hardest class in school)
AP Comp Sci. (Easy teacher, love the subject)
Honors Spanish (HARD and strict teacher, pretty tough class)
Honors Bio (pretty easy)

If I could, I would drop APUSH first and take Honors US, but I believe all Honors US classes are full
I would like to not drop anything, but people have been telling me I will have an impossible schedule
Students in my school rarely take 4 APs
I may be valedictorian of salutatorian, so I have been able to perform very well in the past

Last year, I was cursed with the hardest English and Chem teacher in the school (by a huge margin), so I know for a fact that this year's english and science will be easier by quite a lot. However, I only took 1 AP class (stats) last year, but the rest are honors; is this a huge jump for me?

I have quite a few clubs and I play piano as well. I see so many people with 7 AP classes and plenty ECs, so I chose this schedule, but everyone at my school is telling me I'm crazy. Please help!

You definitely have a challenging course load, which isn’t a bad thing at all! What are you looking to do in college? Also, have you taken/plan to take a AP history course? As a junior as well, I chose HN US History since I took AP World last year and got a 5 on the exam, so I felt APUSH would’ve been redundant. Don’t compare yourself to other people, and do what you know is best for you.

I want to study economics or international relations in a top university and have not taken an AP history course yet, I definitely want to take AP World in senior year. I’m the first person in my family to attend a US high school, so I honestly have no idea what is the best for me. Do you think I should drop APUSH @alison16?

@brickthelegend Taking AP Econ, Spanish, and AP World next year puts you on the right track for that. If dropping it would make you happier and a less stressed person, then yes. If you think you can do well in it and would regret dropping it, then no.

APUSH and AP World are not the same. AP world focuses on eastern hemisphere/European history, only talking about the US during the cold war era. APUSH is self-explanatory.

The essays are different as well, with APUSH being much harder(at least in my opinion).

Anyway, I would drop APUSH or APCS in exchange for Honors US or study hall(if possible).

thanks for the help, GC recommended I keep all the classes, so I’ll power through

You should be fine if you’re motivated. If you’re in challenging classes like that then you’re obviously intelligent.

Hi everyone, I haven’t been on for so long lol. Anyway, I kept all my classes and I’m actually having an easier time than I did in Sophomore year (I am sure I improved my time-management skills as well). Thank you for supporting me and giving me advice, I really appreciate the help you all gave!
