Hey everyone, I'm looking at different clubs at Cornell and a few that i'm interested in are Sabor Latino dance ensemble and Aikido.

I tried emailing the clubs' presidents but no one responded. If there is someone who is currently participating in either club, please, answer my questions. I'd appreciate that.

I was a former officer of the Cornell Aikido Club. The club meets 4 times per week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday afternoons) and the dues are $60/per semester. The ranking system doesn’t have colored belts but there are tests that you can take to attain the next level of rank. When I started, the first rank required a minimum of 60 days of practice but that might have changed slightly since then. There were 5 levels of white belts (each requiring progressively more training) before obtaining the first level of black belt. The sister dojo in Ithaca, Finger Lakes Aikido, has a website with more detailed information about aikido ([Finger Lakes Aikido](http://www.fingerlakesaikido.com)).

There are several high ranking instructors there and they are a great bunch of people to train with. :)
