This fall i'm most likely either going to Sac State or Chico State. From what i've heard, Chico is a better school. I'm curious as to what the strengths are of each school, and how experiences and life differ. I'm also curious about San Jose State. Thanks.

Chico State is supposed to be good, but it is also notorious for being a party school.

I'd pick Chico. It's really pretty!

Chico is the most residential of the three (including San Jose), certainly the prettiest, and probably has the best college "feel". It has the highest fresman return rate, indiciating -- I believe -- a high degree of satisfaction. it is pretty rural, though. If you are interested in a particular program, or need/want to be near a city, or have some other preferences, that might dictate your choice.

Yea, the people i know that go there seem to enjoy it. My major is Business with the finance option and a possible minor in economics. Suggestions?

agree with lalady. you're going to have more of the "college experience" at chico, plus it and cal poly are 2 of the most highly regarded CSU schools.

are you planning on visiting before deciding? A campus visit is always a worthwhile investment before you begin a 4+ year journey.

I've been to Sac State's campus but I still need to see Chico's.
