your GPA is the factor that looks a little sticky to me, although there is nothing wrong with having a reach in your mix. </p>
<p>What part of the country would you like to attend school in? Majors? Need merit or financial aid? If you can give us a little more if, we can make some suggestions.</p>

<p>To sum it up, apply anyway. If you really, really love Chicago it will show in the application. The worst that can happen is a rejection letter and a wasted $60 fee. As long as you don't start thinking that you will be unhappy anywhere else, you will be fine.</p>
<p>That's really bringing me down as well. Looking around these forums is just killing my confidence. I've placed all my bets on my essays. My GPA is terrible, and hopefully the essays will pull me through! Essays!</p>
<p>Tyler, are you doing Regular? If you are, then we will help you proofread your essays. Essays that are excellently written demonstrate your intellect more than your one ACT score. And this probably goes for all schools as well. I wouldn't start looking for other schools yet; put forth the effort to make your essay uniquely you. Heck, put a poem that you made inside your essay if you have to! Or compose a piece of music just for that school. </p>
<p>If you aren't in, then send your supplements to a different school. It is a game which I am sorry to say.</p>
