Sadler Hall vs. BBB

I’m going into the honors program at Syracuse and have to decide on a learning community. I either want to live in the Arts Adventure community in Boland Hall or in the honors community in Sadler. Which hall has better quality dorms/food/etc and what are the pros and cons of living in each? If anyone has any info on what these two learning communities are like that’d be helpful as well. Thanks!

Since no one has answered yet, I will give you the information I have. My son was in an LLC in BBB his freshman year and is in Sadler now as a sophomore. Both were split doubles. According to him, the dining hall at Sadler is better than the one in BBB but both are pretty good. The biggest con to BBB is the walk up the steps in the winter. Sadler isn’t exactly right in the center of campus either but it’s not uphill to the quad. The rooms are comparable in size but the ones in BBB have built in shelves which is handy for organization, but limits how you arrange your furniture. The other difference is that, while both have the bathrooms in the halls, the ones in Sadler are singles rather than group BBB had more activities but that may change next year since Sadler is becoming an all-freshman dorm as I understand it. Sorry, no information about those specific LLCs.

Being a student now, i do not know anything about those specific learning communities as i am not in one.
I do, however, know about the dorms.
BBB is nice because it’s all freshmen. I currently live in an all freshmen dorm (Flint/Day Hall on the Mount) and I love it because everyone is in the same boat being first year students. That being said, I find Sadler dining hall to be better and the rooms are nicer.
Additionally, BBB is very far away from campus and it is a long walk to the quad. You have to walk up a hill as well as a few flight of stairs to get to campus. Sadler is located right near ESF and the Dome. It is a very nice location.
