Safety help...

I think I have my list of schools pretty much down, but I need some suggestions for some more safeties to look into.
Stats:
97.6 GPA
Class Rank 2/160
SAT: 670 Math 710 Writing 740 Verbal
SAT II's: 710 Math II 740 Chemistry 750 History
APs: World History 4 Chemistry 4 US History 5 English Lit 5
ECs are pretty good, I'm sure you don't want to hear all the little details.

Some schools that I like are Swarthmore, William and Mary, Connecticut College, Amherst, and Brown...so basically, I like small-ish schools, I want to stay fairly close to New York. I'd love a school with an athletic student body, and good academics, and a beautiful campus wouldn't hurt :-P
I'm already considering St. Mary's College of Maryland as a safety, any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Hobart & William Smith immediately comes to mind as a safety with those criteria. Not safeties, but are Colgate or Bucknell on your list?

Skidmore could work, though I don't know how althletic their student body is.

union sounds great for you

How about Wagner? I know tennis is big there (probably because of the lovely courts).

Mount Holyoke? I hear that the student body is really involved...

And I'll also second the recommendation for Colgate. Great LAC + D1 sports teams.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

If I remember correctly, I think I took Colgate off my list because it's getting too close to the really snow parts of western NY, like Ithaca and Syracuse...I like snow, sure, but that much of it is just a bit overkill.
