Safety Schools with good business programs?

Applying to: Georgetown, UVA, Southern California, Boston College, Michigan, Villanova – have good grades and good test scores, but need to have a few to apply to as lower match and safety schools. I’ve been told I have a decent shot at the reach schools I listed above on this forum already.

I’m looking for safety schools that still have a good business program and have a great social scene. Bentley is not in my consideration, by the way - did not like it when we visited. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Indiana - Kelley.

Safety schools typically give lousy need-based aid, so for a school to be a safety, you need to know FOR SURE that you have all costs covered.

How much will your parents pay each year? Ask them, please don’t guess. We see later posts from a lot of disappointed students who thought their parents would pay more.

First you need to get into the business school at your reach schools. That is far from certain. I second Kelley.

Dickinson, Denison, American.

@MYOS1634 I am pretty sure that Dickinson and Denison do not have business schools.

They don’t … but they have excellent programs, Dickinson in Management and Denison in Global Commerce.

I'm currently a junior and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the following schools, in terms of social aspects, and academically if they knew any insider details or had any thoughts about their business schools? Do these schools have a good social scene, please compare them on a basis of details that you cannot find online. How are the dorms and food? Do the students enjoy their location, do they party a lot, do they have a lot of school pride, are the students attractive, etc.?

Are you a junior now?

Have you asked your parents how much they’ll pay each year?

I also vote Indiana Kelley on same tier as your targets but a match/safety if you have the stats for direct entry which it sounds like you do.

Indiana, Michigan State, Arizona, and Illinois all have solid business programs and acceptance rates above 60% making them great safety schools.
