Saint Mary's, Dominican University of California, or Point Loma

Hi. I’m getting close to the point of admitting schools. I was hoping this will be my make it or break it so to speak.
for what I know these schools are beautiful colleges and offer many things to their students, giving the opportunities of a catholic school setting.
I’m just unsure what school which school gives a better offer to my major, biology. I’d really like to be in pre-med. Anyways anything helps. Thanks

St Marys is the best one of the 3 IMO.

Saint Mary’s is the best academically. It’s known as a Catholic college and also a 'college that changes lives '.
Point Loma is not Catholic but conservative evangelical (in fact some among the students consider Catholics aren’t really Christian, due to the worship of saints and infant baptism). It’s a college to grow in your faith if you’re a conservative evangelical. It is overall strong academically but may be a problem for med school committees due some of their teachings in the sciences.
Dominican is less good academically and more commuter than Saint Mary’s. Because of this they should have offered you significant merit money - have they?

You don’t need to major in biology to be premed. Being premed is an intention you declare - an intention to be top 10% in biology against biology major, top 10% in chemistry against chemistry majors, etc.
You’ll take two semesters each of English, biology, physics; four semesters of chemistry; one semester each of biochemistry, psychology, sociology, statistics, calculus, a class focused on diversity. Neuroscience, advanced science classes, and even philosophy (ethics) are appreciated; speaking proficiency in a language used by immigrants is a plus (for med school itself, nor for admission.)

There’s an oversupply of biology majors so think of other majors that would interest you. You can be premed and major in English, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Economics, Spanish… All majors with better job prospects than biology.
