<p>I have a question. The semifinalist checklist says your transcript should include a list of senior classes in progress… well i have my first semester classes listed with grades, but my second semester classes aren’t listed untill I get my final grades in June. Is this ok?</p>
<p>Really quick question, my parents have not filed their 2010 Tax return as they have a legal extension until april meaning that my tax return based questions were answered using our 2009 tax return. Will they accept 2009 since we have no filed our 2010 yet? Thanks in advance guys.</p>

<p>I think your first semester senior classes would be okay - generally you have mostly the same classes 1st and 2nd semester. They probably just want to see how you have done so far in your senior year. </p>
<p>And we sent in the tax return for 2009 because it had the lowest gross adjusted income and stuff. :D</p>
<p>oh great LOL. i sent in my materials again today. but it was just updated within the last 3 hours (after 5AM)… and now there are checkmarks lol. well, i only wasted $.44, some toner, and some pieces of paper. lol :(</p>

<p>Thanks, my son emailed last night and they replied quickly and gave him the link. He is saving it on his computer this time! Anyway his documents aren’t showing up yet, but according to UPS tracking they were just delivered there today. So we at least know that they arrived safely. So far this is the only scholarship that he is a semi for so the whole family is pretty excited. Now it is going to be hard to wait two months for the final decisions. In the meantime I am doing all of my shopping at Walmart. We go there alot already, but now they are the only place for me for groceries :)</p>
<p>I’m not worried yet but our things were delivered on Tuesday morning. They are not checked off in the system yet.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry at all. Everyone will be sending their documents about now, so it will definitely take longer for them to process stuff than it did the very first week we could turn things in. If they received it before the deadline, regardless of whether it is checked off, you should probably be okay. :)</p>
<p>Hey guys, I mailed my documents around the 25th of February and they still have not checked off the documents on the review status link they gave me in the email.</p>
<p>I’m really starting to panic right now that it got lost in the mail or something. I really hope this is just because they forgot to update my status. Btw, I live in California.</p>

<p>Even though you may not receive a response until Monday or Tuesday, at least there will be a record of you attempting to contact them (and the mail wouldn’t be en route to Iowa City until the end of Monday anyway.) If you don’t receive a response before Monday afternoon, I’d send it express mail with delivery confirmation. </p>
<p>Also, what browser are you using? I know that on Chrome, I have to highlight the boxes to get them to appear.</p>
<p>Yes, I have contacted them already, but most likely what’s going to happen is that I’ll call them Monday morning and if they have not received it I will send the documents with express mail.</p>
<p>I am using Google Chrome, but I just checked again on Internet Explorer and both show three boxes that are unchecked.</p>
<p>@ blastketchup; i’m from california too anywho, there must be something goin’ on with us cali residents haha! i sent mine on the 23nd before 2pm, and the site had checkmarks for me on march 3rd. if you go back a few pages on this thread, you can read about my panicking. those who sent it afterward had checked boxes before me, so of course i had the same reaction about the mail being lost. i sent them again just in case, but after i mailed it i found out that my boxes have been marked… times like these, i regret not getting confirmation because “$.70 is just too much to pay for” :(. anywho, of course mail it again just in case. express mail seems pretty expensive

me: Hello, I sent my supporting semifinalist documents on February 23rd. However, my documentation status is still unchecked. Another semifinalist claims that his boxes are all checked though he sent the materials after me. Does this mean my materials were not received? I am very worried - should I resend my materials just in case? Thank you!
response: Thank you for your email. Our office is not staffed to handle the large volume of requests for verification, therefore we do not verify receipt of documents sent separately by mail for any applicant. If you sent your documents using a courier service (Fed Ex, UPS, or Express Mail), you may refer to your courier’s tracking service for delivery confirmation. It may be that your documents have been received, but are still awaiting processing. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

i feel a lot better/calmer now that it’s not just me. okay so if i sent it three days after you did… it should be checked off on march 6th? which is tomorrow. i hope so because express mail is $20 T_T.

<p>:) np!!! still, don’t be too chill about it :P! it’s most likely not going to be checked off tomorrow since it’s not a business day. eeeeeek that is EXPENSIVE! when i send standard letters to new york, they are received in 3 days. conversely, when my ny buddy sends stuff, i receive it in 3 days. so it’s probably going to take about 2 days for walmart to receive your stuff if you send it via standard. if you’re penny pinching like me, i suggest first class with confirmation!? :(</p>
<p>yeah but since tomorrow’s sunday and the post office is closed the only choice is for me to mail it with express overnight on monday so they can receive it on the tuesday deadline… T_T.
