Hi, I'm a rising senior, putting together my list of where I'll apply to next fall. :) I'm gonna apply to most of the UC's and some of the CSU's but the SFSU forum on here is pretty dead. Can anyone tell me more about student life there or what the college is like in general?

SFSU is a solid urban university, mostly commuters but with some residential students… and it’s in California’s most vibrant city, so pretty much anything you could possibly want is a short walk or transit ride away. They have a particularly good journalism/media/design program.

Thank you! Anyone else have on-campus experiences to share?

Anyone? :p

I think it’s a commuter school for transfers and more of a residential school for incoming freshmen. A lot of the incoming freshmen are from somewhere else in CA but are attracted to the idea of living in SF. There isn’t much of a campus spirit or unity, though.
