@mariotagle Yo, dude, no need to be so negative. College is different for everyone. Some people go in to get jobs, some people go to learn what they want to learn. And most of us are pretty aware how financially strapping college can be. I’m sorry if you had a bad college experience, but that doesn’t give you the leeway to be petulant or a downer on this thread.
@prem mine still does,and so does my friend’s. We called sjsu today and the lady said that its simply still being reviewed…

I live in San Jose, and to be honest I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Downtown can be pretty busy at times, but for the most part, it’s not that bad. San Jose as a whole is diverse (like most of California) and filled with different people of different backgrounds. I’m not sure how it is where you are, but I’d imagine it’s different.

@mariotagle There is new information, thank you very much. I also sent in an official transcript to prove that I am CSU eligible. I met all of the requirements, I messed up on inputting my senior year classes into Cal State Apply. I got into Cal Poly Pomona so I must be CSU eligible.
I understand that this guy @mariotagle was showing some negative attitude on the thread, but you guys don’t have to give him this much hate.
good luck @Rollercoasterkid2000 . my son was admitted on March 12. And we had the same issue with the application and submitted the mid year transcript to prove he was enrolled in classes completing the A-G requirements. We were lucky to catch the problem in early February (thanks to a call made to SFSU). Four csu out of six have admitted him and one waitlist so most were able to prcess the application even with the issue. They should be aware of some problems with the new application. Keep the presure on the admissions department.
@ljkzI59 Thank you!! Yeah, I’ll keep pressuring them. I’ll email them now asking when I’ll receive my appeal decision. I don’t understand why SJSU had a problem with my application while Cal Poly Pomona did not and still accepted me. That’s great that your son was accepted!
to me it was easy getting accepted to sjsu because i went to a counselor for my educational plan and i went to transfer center to help me fill out the application. It was never an issue. I guess my best guess is to always get help in filling out an application.
I just checked my admissions status and it says…Appl Withdraw Not Accommodated. Does this mean I didn’t get in???
lehigh2022 this means you did not get accepted at all. I got accepted and it said admit by self report data and transefer you need to reapply sorry!!
@Lehigh2022: There may an issue with your application noted by several other posters. I would call SJSU admissions to confirm.
