I'm another one of those people who just can't choose which college to go to with a couple days left. I can't choose between SCU or UCI.

For UCI, I applied into their Economics Department. If I go, its a major in economics and a minor in accounting.

For SCU, I applied into their Business school, the Leavey School of Business. I plan to do accounting with a minor in marketing or communications or even history.

For UCI, I got no money. SCU gave me $6,000.

I live 20 minutes from SCU, 8 hours from UCI.

If you want to throw it in there, I am autistic with a dash of Asperger's Syndrome.

Both SCU and UCI have what I want academically. UCI has what I want socially but I'm not sure if that should make a difference. I've talked to a ton of people and they seem to lean towards SCU with the exception of a few; those within my family and a couple of friends, one of whom has a dad who works at SCU. All the adults I know say SCU because of the great student-teacher interaction as well as the Jesuit Education, which teaches people to be their best. If you want all the factors, you can go to my xanga too-- http://www.xanga.com/Geo_Freak/475866051/the-college-comparison-uc-irvine-vs-santa-clara-university.html

So my question(s) are:

1) Should I go to SCU, even if I'm paying 39k/year?

2) Should distance matter?

3) Is the 39k worth it? Is the school overhyped?

4) How hard are the classes?

Thanks.
