Me either… this was my first SAT and I hated it! I wrote the college board some messages in my test booklet about how much I hated taking the test…

Oh yeah it was dramatic

Telescope, higher learning, the sphinx, and the pakistani ladies passage were all legit. Telescope was not recent invention. I don’t remember the question, but I remember it was something other than recent invention. And dramatic was an answer. And the library passage: What exactly was noteworthy about the author of passage 1’s actions? I put e…

ughh then i still don’t know which was my experimental it really has to be a CR reading section because i only had 3 math and 2 writing + essay…

Was the author’s characterization of the “we-want-to-save-the-world” army snide or despondent?

Did this question ask in what tone the author depicted the army, or what the army was like?

wait what about the passage about being a writer and a runner?

what was the question about the telescope? I don’t recall it.

(correct me if im wrong here) im not sure if this is all correct
some vocab answers i remember
assiduous (this one was about the girl who worked diligently and studied)
mollified, facilitate

for the CR section about the Nanima’s in Pakistan (correct me if im wrong)
-the function of the questions was to show indignation
-the purpose of the passage was to describe a conflict
-the big nanima planted herself which shows that she was adamant (i put impassive woops)
-the function of the first paragraph was to provide context (right?)
- second paragraph shows that the visits were familiar

this passage may have been experimental…if anyone can post some answers for the sphinx passage that would be dope

Maybe that was experimental? I don’t remember.

did anyone else get evocative?

I got exactly what you said, hater of collegeboard.

Sphinx passage…: the academic man was pompous and stuffy or smthng
the sphinx is evocative?
photographing the sphinx erases its novelty of experience or something…
Twain and the stickler’s actions show that they are treating the sphinx differently and doing things that they usually don’t

The self-assured girl was even – and made any collaboration a(n) – for her hapless partners.

Was it: peremptory, ordeal?

I think my experimental had a passage about how art, philosophy, and mirrors were all connected. It was the one with the rabbit/duck picture. Thoughts?

@Agrasin I put snide

no not mollified facilitate… disconert furnish… he was mad that he had to give an unprepared summary

for the man i put weary and complacent. cause he was describing his “withering clothes” and how he was “pale.” also i dont think he was too arrogant idk

But he " waved his art degree" in the guy’s face and dismissed the author’s favorite place as “overrated”.

YEAH it was pompous… did anyone else get resentful acknowledgement?

objective for the sphinx one? and so the save the world thing isnt pedantic right

the degree thing could be complacent. he describes him as wearing and stuff in the same sentence

complacent means self-satisfied. no argument.
