**SAT 2 Math Level 2 Discussion Thread January 2017**

@seyll00 Great to hear! I write the test in 2 hours

Thought It was way harder than usual

@AqibMansoor98 omg really? It was the same as June 2016? Are you sure?

What did you think?

Yes because most of the questions were matching from the june 16 thread

what was the answer to 180/(r^k)? K must be an integer. How many rā€™s are there for the entirety to be an integer

How did you guys think you did? I donā€™t think I did as well as I thought I would.

Same, the questions were wordy and more time-consuming

Overall it was a pretty solid test, I left three blank including the very last question because time ran out.

Physics was waaaaaaaaaay harder.

After skimmimg the previously mentioned forum, I can say that I got 2 wrong with three skipped. On one of the questions I even left a little tick to fill in the bubble afterwards. I didnt. And it was the right answer :frowning:

This was my second time taking the test, and I found it to be similar to the June 2016 test. I thought I did a lot better than last year (720). Overall, I didnā€™t think it was unfair, but then again, there were many subjects I studied that did not end up on the test.

Yeah. I just took it! I hadnā€™t really prepared too much like I should haveā€¦but wellllā€¦ I cram reviewed and hoped that some more involved topics didnā€™t show up. A lot of the more difficult topics didnā€™t show up. I donā€™t think thereā€™s gonna be much of a curve on this test. Iā€™m expecting anywhere from high 600s-mid 700s. I know thatā€™s quite a range still.

@ja9876 I think I chose the option with 30.

What did you guys do for the question with something about bacteria? What was the answer?

When are scores released? And what do you think the cut off raw score for an 800 would be?

Definitely got 1 wrong and omitted 8. I feel like it will be at least 750 (maybe 770 if I got no other questions wrong), which I first thought was bad, but I looked at the acceptance threads for schools that I wanted to go to and people got accepted with the same score or lower for Math 2 (even to those US schools from Canadian applicants) so I feel good

Also I winged the Literature test for $20 extra because why not, my first and only language is English and my high school English mark is a 98/100 so I thought I might do decently well. After taking the testā€¦ letā€™s say I might get a 300 on the Literature, haha. Half was Shakespeare-like text and the other half was poetry, and none of it made sense to me. No big deal though, I was only planning on taking the Math 2 (and then the Chemistry in 4 months).

Yes!! Itā€™s the same!!

I know I got at least 4 wrong, and those were the ones I guessed on. I didnā€™t omit any.

People who were in the 81st percentile got an 800 in June 2016. Idk about the curve thoughā€¦

What did you guys get for 180/n^k question, I got 6. In the 2016 June thread, somebody got 30. It really depends on who is the denominator. Anybody remember the wording of the question?
