SAT 2 Physics: No Calculator!??????

I have started barons sat 2 physics workbook and a lot of the exercises have decimal answer or require trig

Is this how the real sat 2 will be?

Barrons is usually much, much harder than the actual exam, and it’s definitely different. For the most accurate representation of the difficulty of mental math in the physics SAT, check the official SAT subject tests books. From what I know, they’re not testing you on mental math so it’s gunna be pretty easy. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldnt know anything about mental math like the square root of 64 is 8 or 100/4 is 25 etc.

The physics subject test doesn’t require or allow a calculator.

Also, the trig should be at most basic. You’ll probably have to recall that sin(pi/4) = sqrt(2)/2 or tan(pi/3) = sqrt(3) but it shouldn’t go any harder than that.

Yeah. Very basic calculations are involved. It’s literally almost all concepts and understanding the stuff.
