I scored a 2360 on the SAT in March (800 CR/W, 760 M) and taking the ACT with writing for the first time next Saturday as a rising senior. I scored a 34 on the ACT w/out writing (state mandated administration) and am really not sure how I'll do next Saturday, but I'll probably score around a 34-35. Will it affect my college application if I don't submit an ACT score? Or should I submit both anyway, even though the ACT will probably be lower than the SAT score?

Colleges only require one or the other, so submitting either would be fine. It is not necessary to submit both.

Would it help to submit both though?

Your SAT score is good, so a mediocre ACT score won’t really help your college application.

Dude SAT all the way, you owned that test!

Taking the ACT will not help you unless you get a 36. And even if you do, its kinda pointless after 2350+
