SAT 2's

I'm worried because I only did two subject tests lit and USH
but it seems like most did 2 humanities and math or math, humanity, science or math and 2 sciences for SEAS

Is that going to hurt my chances?

Also what is considered a Columbia SAT 2 score? i got 750 on lit and 780 on USH

Why not take the Math II?

It's easy for anybody with a solid grasp of precalculus.

I only did 2 as well, a language and USH, and I got in.

Other aspects of your profile were beastly.

alejis lucky for u ur a ridiculusly stacked applicant
the reason i did not take the math 2 was because i predicted my score would not be high enough 680-720 range

so id rather just get good scores in the humanities because im applying to CC in English so why bother ...in hindsight was a mistake

btw what scores are solid for columbia (and please dont tell me 800's although that may be true)

Personally, I think that for most subject tests, an 800 is fairly achievable for somebody who is familiar with the subject. I mean, the scales on all of the tests (except maybe certain languages) are gigantic.

With that being said, the literature and the USH tests are two tests in which scores might be perceived as more valuable from a percentile standpoint--my 800 on the USH was 99th percentile compared to a 90th percentile for an 800 on the Math II.

Anyways, your current SAT scores aren't going to make or break your application by any means. I wouldn't worry about them now that they are over (assuming that you have not registered for the January administration).

Well to answer the question...if you're applying to SEAS...you would need to take two more SAT II's because SEAS requires a math and a science...

If you are applying to the College...your scores seem fine! Don't worry too much!

i hope so...thanks
