Below are my SAT and SAT II scores
740 M 760 C 770 W

Math II - 780 (took in June and heard that it was the hardest version of the year)
Chemistry - 770
Biology - 780
World History - 730

My main concern is that since I am applying to SEAS, my math scores need to be high. Even though I'm really strong in math, math is my lowest score on my SAT and in regards to the Math II test, it seems that everyone who got accepted to SEAS ED last year had an 800. So, my question is should I bother retaking the Math II even if I'm not 100% positive that I will get an 800 next year, or should I retake the SAT and try to raise my math score even though I probably just got like 2 or 3 wrong, or are these scores competitive (not just good enough) for SEAS ED? Does it make it any different that I'm applying as a female to an engineering school? Thanks!

from the information i have here, i think youre fine. your sat2s are easily in the safe zone; they will look at the 780's on math2 and bio, and those are more than sufficient. your 1500/2270 sat is just fine as well; if it is your first sat take, i would just say that taking it again couldnt hurt (with the goal of slightly raising the math), but right now it is also quite competitive. from your sn, i assume youre a nyc resident which isnt helpful, but i think the fact that you are female and applying early decision will more than make up for the geographic issue. other than that, just focus on a strong application essay and the like. best of luck.

I already took the SAT twice, so that is my superscore. My initial math score was a 700. So, you don't think then that my 780 in Math II would be a huge red flag on my app to SEAS?

nygirl...your post angers me and here's why....

are you kidding? i can assure you that this is so absurdly far from the truth

your scores are fine....and you know that denzera and I have been saying for the longest time that small SAT II score fluctuation, especially above 700, and moreso over 750 are simply due to chance and admissions committees aren't idiots, they know this and won't hold 20 POINTS against you as much as you're claiming, if at all.....so stop being so neurotic!

Your very high Math II score (and your other scores!) shows that you are probably well-qualified.
In my case, I'm pretty sure they didn't pay that much attention to my 680 in SAT Math since I had a 770 in Math II.
