SAT 3 months studying plan

Hi guys, I just took the SAT a few days ago. Before hand I have taken a few Practice tests where my score for the Math portion fluctuates in the 480-530 range. My CR is 550-580 and my Writing can be any where from 480-580; depending on how good my essay is. I suck at the grammar questions but i’m good at writing essays and expressing my ideas.

I took the SAT test with minimum studying and understanding of format of the SAT questions. I plan to take the SAT again in October and I want to improve my score to at least a 670 on all 3 sections so that my overall score can be at least 2000. I am willing to study 70 hours a week for the next 2(1/2)- 3 months.

What are some good studying strategies that you guys have? How many times a week should I be taking the practice test. Should I be often be taking the full practice test, or a practice test for a specific section like math?

I’m not an SAT studying expert, but my advice would be since you have 3 months to study, break it down each month by subject (while taking full timed tests at the end to see improvement) and then maybe 1 or 2 timed tests at the end to see overall improvement.

The most helpful thing you can do for yourself, is to create a notebook of every single question you get wrong. Write down the question, answer & explanation, and make a note of what you’ll do next time to get that specific questions.a Doing this helped me immensely raise my math score. Each time you take a test, review each question and put it into your new notebook, then review the notebook before you take each test. By the end of my sat journey I had taken over 20 tests and recorded my mistakes for each and everyone. Put in the hard work and you will be rewarded with high marks.
