<p>I got a 1290 my 2nd and 3rd time i took the SATs. Does anyone think that I should take it a 4th time?? I have pretty ecs and recs. My essays are pretty good, too. I took a lot of APs and pretty good in them. My SATs r probably the one thing that's gonna hold me down. So, please tell if should or shouldn't take the SATs once more. Thanks!</p>
<p>No. I mean, depends where you are applying to. 4th time won't look good anyways for the top 10, and sorry to be cruel, but after a third time, I doubt your score can/will raise that much to even make a difference.</p>
<p>I would if you KNOW you can do better. 3 times is only a general rule.</p>
<p>i took it 4 times.. just got my score-- 1500. always went up, never down. go for it.</p>
