SATS a 4th time?

Do colleges care if you take the SATS 4 times, or will they think you love the SATS too much?

The last 2 times I got a 1980 and a 1960, but my the way my scores were spread out were different. Last time I got a 710 in math and this time a 700 in CR, which tells me that I'm capable of doing well in those 2 sections, just not at the same time apparently.

Should I take it again or should I just give it up?

I think it's obvious what college I want to go to....

You can combine scores. If you did well on Writing, then you already have a very respectable scores. Even as it is now, you have a 1410 on the first two sections, which arguably are the main ones. Thats not too shabby.

Yeah, my score is alright if you combine the best scores, but the UCs are my first choice and they only take the best sitting.

no it really doestn matter becuasd they only care about your scores not how many times it took you so if u feel that you will do better do it.

i'm curious about it too b/c i heard that after 3 times, colleges average them?

no they never average. its just that once you take it too many times it looks bad.

4 times looks like alot cuz people say by that time you should've already reached your potential, but my potential varies.. I guess. I can hit the 700+ in all the sections, I'd just like to achieve it all at once =/

You know what? I applied to my college. My SAT score is high enough but I am going to take one more time in December just because. I won't get my parents to pay for it. I know I have the potential to score higher. Go for the fourth time LOL!
