SAT/ACT Score Form

I am thinking of sending in my USC application very soon, and I had a couple of questions about the SAT/ACT score report form that we have to send in addition to the score reports that we send to USC.

1) USC says a "website printout or photocopy is fine." Can we just print out an unofficial score report from College Board for each of our tests? The form says "This is not an official report" and "A printout of this page will not be accepted by colleges as an official score report" but i was wondering if this will work since they said a printout is fine.

2) Does this form have to be sent out by December 1st? I am asking because I took the Mathematics Level 2 test in November, and the report does not come out till November 30. Can I submit the form after December 1st?

I really would appreciate any responses. Thanks!

Actually, scratch #2, since I will postmark it on November 30, so I should be fine with that. Can anyone still answer number 1, though? Thanks.

1) Yes, for your unofficial score report a printout that says, “This is not an official report” is fine.

2) (answering even though it was scratched  ) Faxing is a quicker way to get it there - be sure to include your USC ID# on the printout. Office of Admission Fax Number: (213) 821-0200

*Note: Be sure to order **official score reports **in addition to the unofficial reports discussed here.

Good luck!

Yes that’s what they mean. That’s why they say to send them an unofficial website printout. Basically they just want to get a jump on reviewing applications without having to wait for the official reports to arrive. They’ll look at what you sent, the confirm with the official report. Same goes with how you type up all your grades on your application .

Thank you for your help!

is this form absolutely necessary? I just finished my application and its already Jan. 9th, which means the regular deadline is tomorrow. I sent in my SAT scores officially on 12/31 and my couselor sent in my transcript a while ago. Is it mandatory to have the transcipt forms (Forms 3 and 7) and this SAT form sent in? And if so, is it okay if it arrives to them a few days late cuz I don’t have a fax machine and I was planning to mail it if its mandatory.

Thanks

For the regular deadline, the SAT/ACT form with unofficial scores is not as essential. (Because the scholarship selection process is on such a tight schedule, it was VERY important to FAX when applying for the 12/1/10 deadline.)

If you are confident USC has already received your transcript and test scores there is no need to FAX in unofficial copies for the 1/10/11 deadline. (You can check USConnect to see what documents have been received.)

If other applicants reading have not yet had scores and transcripts sent, FAXing them in would be a good idea.

Good luck!
