SAT after Admission Deadline?

How does this work?
Does this mean that I can still take the November 2011 SAT, and still send in my college application before the score is out? (college admin deadline Nov 30)

Worried sick about this now. :X

Also, I plan to apply to cal states and UCs.
Do they require a SAT score directly at the moment of the application? or can i send the app. in and then after the deadline, i receive my score and then send it to them?

Same question.

The Cal Poly’s want you to complete tests by the Nov test dates. Scores can arrive after Nov 30 but they like to have them in their hands by no later than mid-Dec. The rest of the Cal States and all the UCs accept tests through the Dec test dates and like to have scores in their hands by no later than mid-Jan. For the Cal States, you can use CSUMentor’s college code so you can send test scores to it and all the Cal States will then get them so you do not have to send them to multiple colleges. For the UCs you pick one of the UCs to which you are applying and send official scores to it and the other UCs will then get them from that UC.

I think it depends on the school. If you look on their website they should tell you the latest test day they will accept. I know Columbia says on there that for Early Decision they will take the November test day even though the scores come out after the deadline, November 1st (and the actual test date is after the deadline too!). Just make sure to send your score reports to the schools before you get your scores. Because if you wait until after you get your scores they may not accept your scores. I would send the scores when you first register (:
