What is the average SAT and ACT for CALS without Biology, AEM, animal science and that other really popular major that I cant think of?

I don't think they publish those statistics.

anyone else?

I don't think you understand.

Unless Cornell publishes that information, how would any of US know it?
Do you assume that we all work in the office of admissions statistics?

asking for anyone else's opinion will get you nowhere.

No need to be so hostile. I can tell you that the average SAT score for Communications is 1310. This is for the class of 2006, and this came from a high-up faculty member of CALS. Not going to get any more specific then that, but I saw a printout from Cornell itself with this information.

Yeah no kidding, the hostility is not appreciated. You really give a poor representation of what the students at what is supposed to be one of the supreme colleges in the world are like. Hey, and if you are a student, why don't you get some friends, get off cc, and get a life. You really seem like the common ivy league pric#. Anyone else's comments would be much appreciated!

It's not really a good idea to fight hostility with hostility. I wouldn't really consider chendrix's comments to be hostile anyways - more blunt than anything.
Anyways, my guess would be that the SAT averages are probably around mid 1300s to mid 1400s, ~30-33 ACT.
This is just a GUESS so please don't attack me if I'm not 100% accurate.

Yes you are correct, I reacted irrationally to an overly blunt statement. Sorry if i offended anyone.

perhaps for more popular programs, (AEM for example), the avg might be slightly higher? Since the admission rate is so low, maybe the avg would be atleast in the mid 1400s? (not considering SATs of recruited athletes ofcourse) just a guess...,, also, doesn't the engineering college have a higher SAT avg even though it isn't as "popular" as majors such as AEM? again, just assumptions,

AEM has a lot of athletes applying so the avg SAT/ACT gets dragged down a little bit, especially since the size is so small.
