I am currently a sophomore taking Algebra 2 HN would it be smart of me to take the SAT in June without even taking precalc or trig yet.
I am a parent of a child who recently took the SAT as a sophomore. Is there a reason why you want to take it this year rather than wait? My son had to take it this year to apply for a program for next year. Otherwise I would suggest you wait. Summer is a good time to study since you will have a lot more free time. A little more info about my son’s situation, he is in precalc this year and was already exposed to higher level math. That base knowledge along with Khan Academy worked for him. Hope this helps.
