SAT Bio score for princeton??

Hi. Im a sophomore right now and I mostly get As in school.
In May I took my second Bio subject test. That was my second time.
I got a 680.. on both of them.
My question is what is a good score to get into Princeton (SAT II BIO)?
I know just one score doesn't decide that but I just want to know what is a good score for Princeton.

Thanks.

There will be lots of people with 800s, but 750 or better would be good.

the average unhooked matriculant to the Ivies will have a 750+ on every test score taken, particularly STs.

Who is giving you advice to take a Subject test for a second time as a soph? Have you taken AP Bio to prepare you, or just regular or honors Bio?

I took Biology honors as a freshman. For the test I studied by myself. I knew all the notes and stuff but I just can’t get a good score. I don’t know why.

Oh and one more question. If you’re trying to major biology in a college, do they care a lot about your biology e/m score? If I had a bad score on bio and had a good one on other subjects like math, will they like it?
thanks!

Admissions know that many students change their major during college. You don’t really need SAT II Biology for Biology, SAT II Chemistry for Chemistry, etc.

SAT II scores in general don’t really matter that much compared to other things. However if you are applying to top 10 schools, you don’t really want any SAT II score below 750.

I don’t know if P accepts score choice or not, but not all selective colleges do. IMO you are possibly hurting your admissions very early on by taking and retaking tests before being adequately prepared.

Are you planning to take any APs or precalc jr year? If so, that is when you should be taking your Subject tests. When you study for the AP test, you will be preparing yourself for the Subject test with no additional effort.

Yeah I’m taking AP US history and AP English next year.
I wanted to take AP Bio but my schedule won’t let me.
Thanks for your advice :)
