SAT Biology Curves

Does anyone know how many points the SAT Bio E & M is normally curved by? (Based on previous years)

And a few other questions: For those of you who have Barron's test CD that came with the book, are those tests accurate? I got 720 on one of them, but 780 on the one in the book..

Dude, love your username.

I think it’s -5 to -8 wrong for an 800. 8 might be pushing it though. In general you should add 50-70 points if you’re getting lower 700s and higher 600s. But if you’re in the higher 700s you might get the same score on the actual test. So since you got 780 in the book, that’s probably what you’ll get on the test and possibly better.

Ah. Thanks.

All my practice test scores are really weird, though.

700 (PR)
710
710
720 (Barrons)
730 (PR)
740
760
760
780
780 (Barrons)
790 (Barrons)

X_x

Another question: My test is on Saturday, I’ve read over PR and Barrons and taken 11 practice tests…what is the best way to prepare me more… at this point? I really want to score 800…is it impossible for me, based on my previous practice scores?

Barron’s is pretty difficult. If you can score 790 on those then an 800 on the real thing is definitely possible.

Really? I was under the impression that Barrons was really easy.

That’s what people say…

Although, these online spark notes tests are MUCH harder than Barron’s for me. 100 questions, ummm… I’m pretty sure there are only 80 Spark Notes. They are over 100 points lower than my Barron’s scores.

i already asked this before somewhere else but does anybody know which one has the better curve, Biology-E or Biology-M?

M has the easier curve  The average for M is 630 while E is 591
