SAT calculation differences for each college

Hi-

Does anyone know which competitive universties take a composite score of your best sections on the SAT and consider that as your highest SAT score and which universities judge the SAT scores by test date only?

For example, if you get a 2100 (700 for each section) and your second time you get a 2200 (get higher scores on the math and the CR but lower on the writing), which schools will take your highest writing score out of the two and combine it with the highest CR and Math and which ones will look at the scores as they are?

Looking at URochester, UChicago, Brown, Michigan, UPenn and any other colleges in that area

Thanks!

It's called superscoring, and most schools do do it. (add highest score from each section)
