Tell me everyone... How did ya do on the SAT???

What do you think of the way that the test is created?

How about the essay?

What is the hardest section?

What did you score?

???

Tell me everyone... How did ya do on the SAT???

What do you think of the way that the test is created?

How about the essay?

What is the hardest section?

What did you score?

???

How did ya do on the SAT??? 2190

What do you think of the way that the test is created? It's a stupid, long, tedious exam which doesn't really measure anything.

How about the essay? Retarded.

What is the hardest section? Critical reading.

What did you score? 740CR, 780M

I do ok

It's a test that shows your ability to prep and study

I hate the essay

Reading is my hardest section as well

scored a: 620cr, 710, 560w- newer scores will come in 6 days however, hopefully better too :)

Tell me everyone... How did ya do on the SAT??? Depends on who you talk to. I wasn't too satisfied with my score.

What do you think of the way that the test is created? Pointless, although ut can be mastered through test prep.

How about the essay? Unnecessary and also pointless. Talk to just about any diligent writer and they'll tell you that 25 minutes to express your thoughts on an essay simply is not sufficient enough.

What is the hardest section? Math. Odd, huh? It's just that I've never had a solid foundation in math. It's surprising that I'm even taking Calculus.

What did you score? 700 CR, 570 M, 690 W

I also took the December test. Hoping for a 2000+...

How did ya do on the SAT??? -Well, as an international, I think I did great.

What do you think of the way that the test is created? -Tricky. The kind of test that tries to get you lose points.

How about the essay? -The essay killed my score. I'd say, it's not that hard if
one practices. Mind my words though, I only got an 8. :P

What is the hardest section? -Critical Reading. At times, it can get plain boring.

What did you score? CR: 790 MA: 780 WR: 730

What do you think of the way that the test is created?
- Challenging, but as someone above said it can be mastered through practice tests and raw willpower.

How about the essay?
- An easier part of the test, because the prompt is always fairly broad and easy to write about. Just get to know a few good novels really well and incorporate them into your essay.

What is the hardest section?
- For me, Math. I could never overcome those careless mistakes.

What did you score?
- 800 CR, 740 M, 800 W (2340)

Tell me everyone... How did ya do on the SAT???
Fairly well, but not amazingly.

What do you think of the way that the test is created?
I think it is an OK assessment of critical thinking, but the exact score shouldn't be weighted as heavily as it is. There is a difference between 2300 and 1900, but not so much between 2300 and 2200, or even 2100.

How about the essay?
I'm not a huge fan. It's inaccurate. Most colleges have it right, though, in that they don't give it a ton of weight because it is so subjective.

What is the hardest section?
It's personal preference, but for me, CR.

What did you score?
2250: CR 730, M 770, W 750
Hopefully 2300+ when December scores come out.

*How did ya do on the SAT??? * Decent, Retaking in March

What do you think of the way that the test is created? In 1940 it was a crappy test. Now it is a much better test which I believe accurately tests students to be careful when reading - the critical reading section vaguely makes me think of the LSAT distinctively. Its a very good exam I'd say.

How about the essay? There are timed essays for everything. Good preperation for other standarized tests (LSAT, APs) I suppose.

What is the hardest section? Critical Reading, its the most direct measurement of intelligence on the SAT (comparatively) except for the vocab section, which tests only vocab, while the reading section is the most vital part of the test I'd say.

What did you score? 2190 (690 CR, 720 M, 780 W) - Nov. 2007, really nasty curve...if it was on the nicest curve I would have gotten a 2300 (-3 on math = - 80 points/800, wt!!!)
