I went to turn in my SAT scores today then I saw on CB that it won’t reach the school for 1-2 weeks and then it will take even more time for it to process at the school. My application for EA is due in exactly one week and I’m freaking out!!! Will they accept my scores late and still look at me for early action? Is doing rushed scores worth it at this point? Please answer fast I need to figure this out.
I would probably do the rushed scores just to get them there ASAP and also call the admissions office to ask about the EA issue. Some schools allow a grace period for things like LORs, transcripts, test scores etc. as long as the student has submitted their part of the app. Not sure about OSU.
Just found this on the website: http://undergrad.osu.edu/apply/freshmen-columbus/apply-step-by-step. I would rush the scores RIGHT NOW if you haven’t already, and cross your fingers if OSU is near the top of your list. Good luck!
"November 1: Early action
What is early action?
We must receive your complete application (your admission application and all required materials) by midnight (EST) on November 1 if you wish to be considered for most university merit scholarships (larger awards require additional steps).
While not required, we strongly recommend meeting the November 1 deadline if you wish to be considered for majors in the College of Engineering, the Morrill Scholarship Program, and Honors and Scholars Programs."
Need the rush from college board, otherwise out of luck
My son’s SAT scores were sent and confirmed by OSU in one week, If that helps.
