Long story short, I took the October SAT and the result wasn’t great, therefore, I’m taking it again in December. I am aware that the application deadline for Cal State is Nov 30. The question is, will the school accept my December SAT score if the deadline have pass? Thank you for any input.
Different campuses have different deadlines. Cal Poly SLO and SDSU will only accept up to the November sitting.
Here is a link to show the last sittings that are accepted by each CSU

Thanks for the input! Say I submit the first score, can I update it afterwards?
Yes, you can submit and self-report your 1st score and then send the 2nd score when available and by the school’s deadline.
I took the December SAT but the last sitting that the school will take is Nov and the application deadline is Nov 30 then will I still be able to report the December SAT score? Sorry for asking because I’m still a bit confused.
SDSU and SLO will only accept up to the November sitting so if you take the December SAT, those scores would be not considered in your application review. You would self-report any SAT scores up to and including the November sitting on your Cal State application and submit these scores to SDSU and SLO.
On your Cal state application, you would also indicate you are taking the December SAT and send these scores to the rest of the CSU’s that accept up to the December sitting.
Great, I get it now. Thank you very much
