SAT Essay examples?

<p>What are good things to use as examples? Especially if the prompt isn't so related to history or literature? Like I saw one that goes "Is TV bad? How does it negatively or positively affect one's life?" </p>

<p>Also if a question is very broad, like "Is our world progressing?"
Is it better to use general examples (1 paragraph about technology, 1 civil rights, and 1 share of information) or of specific examples (MRI technology curing diseases, amendments, Facebook as a news outlet)</p>

<p>My SAT teacher told me the more specific the examples the better so I think the 2nd one (MRI’s etc) would be better. Also, you can use a personal example such as how TV has affected you personally.</p>
