SAT Essay Plan

Hello everyone!

I will be taking the SAT this fall for the 3rd and final time. I really really need a good score this time. I have about 2-3 months to prepare and I am already in full swing. The area of the test that I don't know how to prepare for is the essay. I got an 8 on both of my first two SATs. How can I move beyond this? How should I prepare? Both times I had predetermined examples and I fabricated the content of them to fit the thesis. I had two examples the first time and 3 the second time. I also tried to write well formed sentences with nice verbs. I just don't know how to move beyond an 8. I need a plan. I am open to all ideas. Could someone point me in the right direction? I have seen almost all of the different strategies and forum posts yet have still been unable to get better then an 8. What should I do?

Any ideas are very welcome. Thank you! :)

Anyone? I would really appreciate some advice. I need a direction to go in with my essay writing—I need a plan. Would it be helpful for me to post my last two essays from my last two SATs?

Nobody? This is disappointing.

I really need any advice on how to prepare for the essay. What techniques do you use? How should I spent my essay study time for the next 2-3 months to guarantee a 10+?

I wrote a thread that may help you. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1525053-defeating-sat-essay-2-days.html

Thanks satman, I will check that out. :)

Satman1111, do you mind if I PM you some questions I have about your SAT strategy? I really like the looks of it and I am thinking of using it.
